Chason believes that in order to create systems that are designed to place people first, we have to do more than ink policies. We need more than rhetoric. We need to listen. Give everyone a voice. Offer safe spaces to express individual needs, concerns, and challenges. Allow people to make mistakes and grow right where they are. We need to seek out opportunities to unite, engage, and employ people from all communities.

Companies can still make staggering profits while offering their people equitable living wages and benefits. There is irrefutable data that proves when employees feel safe, engaged, and fairly compensated they are more loyal and productive. When the team wins, the families of the team, and their communities win as well! When communities win, we see less crime, reduced homelessness, and can eradicate poverty and food insecurity. The social impact is incredible.
